We were tasked with creating a campaign for eBay’s end-of-financial-year sale. To cut through the clutter we created our own reason, Hump Month. I wrote a song (it’s a glorified jingle, but let me live) which went rather well and even got randomly parodied, albeit uncomfortably by a strange man named RASTUS. And when he notices you, well, you know you’ve made it.
Now I have the confidence to look someone like Paul Simon dead in the eye and say “hey… I get it”.
